How the courses, the player, the flashcards, your progress and your account work, down to every button and setting. Start with the quick start below, or pick a topic.
Quick start
- Pick a course. Open the catalogue, search or sort it, and open a course. The Introduction, all of chapter 1 and every chapter overview are free, with no account. The catalogue
- Read, listen, or both. The narration starts by itself; on a phone, tap the page once. Click any paragraph to move the narration there, and open the settings button on the audio bar for speed, voice and more. Listening
- Pass the Knowledge Check. Every lesson ends with a short quiz. A pass needs every answer right, and Try Again reshuffles the options. Quizzes
- Sign in with Google or Apple. It is free. Your progress, settings and streak then follow you from device to device, and your dashboard shows where you are in every course. Signing in
- Practise the flashcards. Every course ends with a deck of its key terms. Pass every quiz and know every card, and the course medal and a certificate are yours. Flashcards
