Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of IT Playbook. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Last updated: June 9, 2026.

1. The service

IT Playbook ("we", "us") provides online, narrated engineering courses and related features, operated by Sergey Okinchuk. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. You sign in with a Google account; you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Keep your information accurate.

3. Subscriptions & billing

4. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel any time from Settings; cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the current paid period. Cancelling during the free trial avoids any charge. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not pro-rated.

5. Acceptable use

The courses are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial learning. You agree not to share your account, resell or redistribute the content, scrape or bulk-download it, circumvent the paywall or access controls, or use the service unlawfully or in a way that disrupts it.

6. Intellectual property

All course content, audio, illustrations, software, and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for your own learning while your subscription is active. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. The content is educational and provided for general information; it is not professional advice, and we don't guarantee particular results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice through the service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
